Books
I’ve read every one of these books and recommend them all.
Black Rednecks and White Liberals
by Thomas Sowell

This book is really an eye opener. the major premise of the book is that many harmful attitudes and behaviors associated with today’s urban ghetto blacks, actually were inherited from white Southerners, and the actions of white liberals of today have strengthened those characteristics in blacks. Written by a black scholar, author and columnist.

Slouching Towards Gomorrah
by Robert Bork

This is one of the most important books of our time in terms of understanding the culture wars and what they are doing to the culture. I can’t recommend this book highly enough.

Unholy Alliance: Radical Islam and the American Left
by David Horowitz

Horowitz explains how an unholy alliance has developed between American liberals, and radical Islam. Both are anti-America and have found that they have common ground together. A shocking, must-read.

Michael Moore is a Big Fat Stupid White Man
by David T. Hardy and Jason Clarke

This was a very necessary book to have been written, because it completely documents Moore as the intellectual fraud and incessant liar that he is. Before this book was written Moore was being taken very seriously and I believe this book was a large reason as to why he has been largely marginalized by everyone other than the most left wing.

South Park Conservatives
by Brian C. Anderson

Brian Anderson, editor of City Journal magazine, wrote a landmark article entitled “We’re Not Losing the Culture Wars Anymore.” He took the basic premise of that article, that conservatives are starting to win the culture wars, and expanded it into this enjoyable and very informative book.

Do As I Say, Not As I Do
Profiles in Liberal Hypocrisy
by Peter Schweitzer

I loved this book! It basically chronicles and documents instances of the biggest liberals of today, doing things that are the exact opposite of what they say publicly. From Michael Moore owning stock in Haliburton, to Nancy Pelosi not allowing union labor in the hotels that she owns, this book skewers the left wing elite.

The Way Things Ought to Be
Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh is aggressively criticized and propagandized by the left precisely because he is so effective in bring attention to the nonsense of their ways. Every day, 4.5 million people tune in to Rush’s radio program.

In this book, Rush gives a great summary of the conservative point of view, plus uses a lot of humor. A great place to start in gaining a better understanding of the common sense aspect of conservative politics.

Bias, a CBS Insider Exposes How the Media Distorts the News
Bernard Goldberg

Goldberg exposes the liberal bias in the media using cold hard statistics, and lots of anecdotes from his years at CBS News.

This book is literally a MUST for anyone who wants to understand world events and see through the clouds of bias.

The New Thought Police Tammy Bruce

Bruce is more or less an “ex-liberal”, having been the President of the Los Angeles chapter of the National Organization for Women. The experience left her shocked and dismayed at the thought control tactics used not only by NOW, but by many other liberal activist organizations.

Why the Left Hates America
Daniel J. Flynn

Flynn’s book is perhaps the most shocking and eye-opening book I have ever read, detailing the roots of liberalism and why they so actively seem to hate America, blame America first, and criticize the country every chance they get.

An absolute MUST read.

Intellectual Morons
by Daniel J. Flynn

Another excellent book by Daniel J. Flynn in which he dissects some of the most moronic people on the left. My favorite chapter is “History Itself as a Political Act: The Three Stooges of Anti-Americanism”.

Tales from the Left Coast
True Stories of Hollywood Stars and Their Outrageous Politics

James Hirsen

The title pretty much says it all. All this would be amusing if it wasn’t so ridiculous. The book details Hollywood stars and their pet politics, from animal rights to environmental alarmism to bashing President Bush.

Guilt, Blame and Politics
Allan Levite

This book outlines the fascinating idea of political guilt and how it afflicts certain individuals, and how that affects their politics.

The French Betrayal of America
Kenneth R. Timmerman

Another real eye-opener on France’s betrayal of the US in recent times, and how Jaque Chirac has been building his friendship with buddy Saddam Hussein for the last 25 years.

Inside the Asylum
Ted Babbin

A fascinating look at what’s going on inside the UN, written by a former under-Secretary of Defense under George Bush Sr. I would consider this book practically required reading for anyone intertested in the political scene.

Challenging Environmental Mythology, Wrestling Zeus
by Jack W. Dini

An exceptional book for debunking the myths that heavily populate the world of extreme environmentalism. I was shocked to learn that much of the “everybody knows” data that is promoted by the media about the environment is completely false.

Off with Their Heads
Dick Morris

An amusing and insightful look into, among other things, how the New York Times slants all their opinion polls.

The Third Wave
Alvin Toffler

I don’t think I could say enough this groundbreaking book. Toffler, the author of “Future Shock”, outlines and describes the emerging “third wave”, which comes after the first wave (the agricultural revolution) and the second wave (the industrial revolution).

This book really helps one understand where the world is going in the 21st century.

Journalistic Fraud: How The New York Times Distorts the News and Why it Can No Longer Be Trusted
Bob Kohn

This book gives the nuts and bolts of how The Times distorts the news toward favoring the liberal side, with lots of examples.

See my article about this.

Radio Talk Show Web Sites
Go to these web sites for great information and to find out where to catch these shows in your city.
RushLimbaugh.com

Every day, 4.5 million people tune in to Rush’s radio program.

Rush has been subjected to more liberal black propaganda than any other conservative host or author in America. But somehow, 4.5 million people keep tuning in every day. I guess they just don’t get how dangerous he is (to liberals that is).

LarryElder.com

Larry Elder, aka the Sage from South Central, is a voice of reason, also on KABC in LA, from 3:00-6:00 pm daily. And by the way, Larry is what seems to be a rarity today, a black man who is a Republican and against such typical Democratic issues as affirmative action.

Hannity.com

Sean Hannity can be seen on the Fox show Hannity and Combs, as well as on his syndicated 3-hour a day radio show. See the site for airing times and stations for your city.

DavidLimbaugh.com

Columnist and author David Limbaugh (brother of Rush) provides insightful commentary.

David had this to say about CommonSenseGovernment.com:

“Very good job on the column. Interesting background you have. I’m gratified to see that you came over to the ‘right’ side. I’m enjoying your excellent insights too. Keep ’em coming. Take care. David.”

BillOReilly.com

Bill O’Reilly is a best-selling author, syndicated collumnist, and syndicated radio talk show host.
